Backtime
Backtime was written in 1992 as a small utility for broadcasters. The program
was designed to aid radio presenters and 'tech-ops", by making the business
of backtiming music and commercials easier.
Backtime was originally written
for the Psion Series 3a/3c, and was ported to the Series 5 by request for one
user in mid-1999. It was subsequently ported to the Nokia 9210 in September 2002
at the request of a user.
The author, Pete Sipple, worked in UK commercial radio, and designed the application to assist with complex show timing calculations.
Backtime is freeware. No further releases
of this product are planned due to commitment with other projects.
