I have fond memories of my days working in local radio. My journey started with Thameside Radio, then some of the best years of my life in a basement at Essex Radio. A brief spell as Head of Production at Spectrum Radio, then IT Manager for a group of stations. I was at my happiest as a humble technical operator in a basement studio in Southend
Today: I'm still involved with the industry by teaching occasional radio courses at South East Essex College.
With roots firmly planted in a tech world, after years writing for a popular technology magazine and writing shareware for handheld computers, I was drawn from radio to tech, to work for Psion designing mobile software.
Today: I'm working as a Project Manager creating mobile phone software... used by broadcasters.
